June 5 is Festival of Popular Delusions Day,
World Day Against Speciesism, and World Environment Day.

From a google of Festival of Popular Delusions Day :

"On June 6, 1944, over 150,000 Allied troops landed on the beaches of
Normandy, in France, beginning the push to retake Western Europe from the
Nazis. A day before the invasion was the last day that Nazis could have had
the delusion that their Reich would last 1,000 years, hence the day is
celebrated on June 5th."
