The devastating efficacy of the US Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle
(IFV) has been revealed in heart-pounding new footage from the
frontlines of Ukraine.
An incredible clip shared by Ukraine's 109th Separate Territorial
Defence Brigade showed how the expertly piloted Bradley saved a troop of
Kyiv's soldiers from certain death, reducing three Russian BMP-2
armoured vehicles to smouldering wrecks.
Another clip even showed the Bradley taking on a Russian T-90
tank - with resounding success.
. . .
The Bradley, which looks like a mini-tank, was never meant
to take on a T-90. My guess is that Russia is down to much
less experienced tank commanders, and the heavier armor was
not turned to face the Bradley.
The Bradley's have "light" armor ... OK against small arms
fire and some shrap, probably up to something about the
equiv of the US .50-BMG so long as you don't give it time
to drill a hole. They are very quick and maneuverable and
a skillful driver and gunner can do a lot of damage.
In any case, great to see the Ukranians putting their Bradleys
to good use, expert operation.
Putin will probably continue this war for as long as he
lives, but let's just say the casualties and other expenses
seem to be creating a big pile of 'negative karma' inside
Russia. The post-Putin fallout may be severe, cause as
much disruption as when the USSR collapsed. Getting a new
regime "better" than Putin is NO sure thing either.
